Ramp4x4 Privacy Policy

Ramp4x4 is operated by Archline Labs LLC. Ramp4x4 is a Norwegian 4×4 / VO₂ max interval-training coach for iPhone and Apple Watch. The app is designed to keep your health and location data on your own devices. This policy explains what the app accesses and why.

Health and fitness data

With your permission, Ramp4x4 reads and writes data through Apple HealthKit, including heart rate, workouts, walking and running distance, active energy, and VO₂ max.

This data is used only to run your workout, deliver coaching, calculate training feedback, and show your history and trends. We do not receive, transmit, or store your HealthKit data on any server we control. HealthKit data is never sold and is never used for advertising.

You can manage Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or in iOS Settings.

Location

If you enable location access, Ramp4x4 uses your location during active outdoor workouts on Apple Watch to measure distance, pace, and route. Location is processed for the workout experience and saved with the workout through Apple Health when applicable.

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or store your location on servers we control.

Workout history and settings

Your workout summaries, presets, preferences, and profile settings are stored locally on your device and may sync through your private Apple iCloud key-value store so they remain available across your devices and after reinstalling the app.

This is your personal Apple iCloud storage. We do not have access to it.

Purchases

Ramp4x4 Premium is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Diagnostics and analytics

To keep the app stable and understand how features are used, Ramp4x4 may use the following third-party services:

These services receive app-usage and technical diagnostic data only. They do not receive your HealthKit data, heart-rate data, workout data, VO₂ max data, or location data. We do not attach your name or email address to these events. We do not use analytics data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Your privacy choices

You stay in control of your data.

HealthKit and location: You can manage or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security, Health, or Location Services) or in the Apple Health app.

Workout history: You can delete individual workouts in the app where supported, or remove app data by deleting the app.

Diagnostics and analytics: To opt out of crash and usage reporting, or to request deletion of diagnostic data associated with your device, contact us at [email protected] and we will handle the request where technically possible and legally required.

Privacy requests: You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because Ramp4x4 is designed to avoid collecting health and location data on our servers, most health, workout, and location data must be managed directly on your device, in Apple Health, or through your Apple account settings.

Children

Ramp4x4 is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
